Survivor Testimonies
Voices They Tried to Silence. Stories the World Must Hear.
For too long, the voices of Igbo survivors have been suppressed, ignored, or erased from history. Truth Over Empire exists to change that. This page is dedicated to real people, real experiences, and the painful truths of colonial violence, war, displacement, and systemic persecution—especially during and after the Biafra War.
We honor every testimony as a sacred record, a living archive that bears witness to the crimes of empire and the resilience of a people who refused to vanish.
Why Survivor Testimonies Matter
- They humanize history beyond facts and figures.
- They document atrocities the British government and its allies deny.
- They provide critical evidence for legal and international human rights actions.
- They empower future generations with truth, courage, and a legacy of resistance.
